2.00pm Astronomical craft activities for children of various ages, explore the Camera Obscura children love it (and Adults), safe observation of the Sun if fine.

3.00 pm Afternoon tea is provided, special astronomical delights!

International Observe the Moon Night

6.30 -7.45pm Moon-B-Q with Salads Vegetarian and Gluten Free options.

8.00pm Talk “Tides and Earthquakes – the Moons Influence” (Talk only $5)

8.30pm Viewing of the stunningly beautiful 11 day old Moon and Planets as well 🙂

International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation, and understanding of our Moon and its connection to NASA planetary science and exploration. Everyone on Earth is invited to join the celebration and uniting on one day each year to look at and learn about the Moon together.

 

MOON-B-Q $15, Under 12 years $7.50

Talk and viewing $25 Adults, $18 Conc, $12 Student under 18,  $60 Family of 4, $65 Family of 5. Viewing only is the same cost.
