Film showing on our high definition large screen
“Leonids” is set on the afternoon counting down to the biggest meteor shower in history. At the heart of the story is eleven-year-old budding astronomer Leon, who is unable to connect with his father since the sudden passing of Grandpa. Leon and Grandpa had a close bond and shared a curiosity of the universe, something Leon never had with his workaholic father. Leon hasn’t yet accepted the loss and continues to connect with Grandpa through his urn. Leon’s father is fully aware of this but fails to confront the problem as it would mean facing his own grief.
As the clock counts down to the meteor shower, we answer the following questions – Will Leon finally connect with his father? Will they both accept their mutual loss, mend their relationship and move on? All is revealed in the films dramatic and awe-inspiring conclusion.
